At Your Darling Style, every piece is curated with love and intention. Because our boutique carries limited-run, small-batch collections, our return policy reflects the unique nature of our offerings while helping us maintain fairness and sustainability. Our Promise to You
At Your Darling Style, we want every piece you purchase to make you feel confident and darling, but we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. That’s why we offer a straightforward return process designed with you in mind.
We gladly accept returns of eligible, full-priced items for exchange or store credit in the form of a digital gift card, as long as your return is initiated and shipped back to us within 14 days of delivery.
General Return Policy
- All returns are for store credit or exchanges only.
- Eligibility: Returns must be initiated and shipped back within 14 days of receiving your order, using our official Return Portal.
- Pre-order items: The delivery date is an estimate and we are not responsible for vendor delays. Orders cannot be canceled once place

Condition: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached.
- Items must be free of stains, odors (including smoke), excessive pet or human hair, and in original packaging.
- Items that do not meet these requirements will be denied and sent back at the customer’s expense.
- We do not cancel orders once they are placed. Please review your cart carefully before checkout.
- Variations in color or pattern due to lighting or screen resolution are not considered defects.

Limit: We kindly ask that customers limit returns to a maximum of 5 initiated returns per month.
This helps us manage inventory fairly, prevent bulk over-ordering, and continue offering new, beautiful pieces at accessible prices.
No Order Cancellations – No Exceptions
Once an order is placed, it is immediately processed and cannot be canceled or changed for any reason.
This includes:
Pre-orders (delivery dates are estimates only, and we are not responsible for vendor delays).
Custom orders (including bracelets, jackets, bags, and accessories).
Shipping, Protection & Fees (Non-Refundable)
Original shipping charges, package protection, and return protection fees are non-refundable and are not reimbursed under any circumstances, including approved returns, exchanges, or one-time policy exceptions.
These services are provided at the time of shipment and are independent of the returned item.
Final Sale Items
The following are always Final Sale and not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit:
- Any sale or clearance items discounted 30% or more
- Sale collection pieces or clearance
- Bespoke, custom-made, or personalized items (including jackets, bags, accessories, and custom bracelets)
- Gift card/code purchases from a return
- Items noted as clearance or final sale on the product page
- Sleepwear, bodysuits, and other intimate wear if applicable
Exchanges & Store Credit
We gladly accept size exchanges on eligible items, subject to availability. All exchange requests must be submitted through our Returns Portal.
Please note that submitting an exchange request does not reserve or hold inventory. Exchange orders are not created until the original item has been received and fully processed by our team. Availability is determined at the time your return is processed, not when the exchange request is submitted.
Customers are responsible for the shipping cost of the new exchange item. Our free returns & exchanges cover return shipping back to us only, meaning you will not be charged to send your original item back when using Checkout+.
If the requested exchange item is no longer available once your return has been received and processed, store credit will be issued for the value of the returned item.
Jewelry size adjustments are available for a small re-string or re-size fee of $5.
Custom Orders
- All custom bracelets and bespoke items are Final Sale.
- Please double-check spelling, sizing, and details before purchase.
- Custom orders may take up to 2 weeks to ship due to volume.
- Once processed, no cancellations or edits can be made.
What is Checkout+?
We know returns aren’t the most exciting part of shopping, but we believe they should be simple, stress-free, and customer-first. That’s why we offer Checkout+, our optional return protection.
With Checkout+:
- Your return shipping label is free.
- Your package is protected against loss, theft, or damage in transit.
- If your package goes missing or arrives damaged, we will replace it at no extra cost.
- Checkout+ is available for US & Canada orders only.
If you skip Checkout+:
- You are responsible for the cost of return shipping (labels must be purchased through our return portal).
- You are responsible for filing any lost/stolen/damaged claims directly with the carrier.
How to Start a Return or File A Claim

- Submit return or claim reasons
- Select or pay for return label
- You will receive the shipping label in your email inbox once processed - all damage, claims, or missing items must first be reviewed by our team.
- Ship the item(s) back within 14 days of receiving your order being delivered - the label will expire if shipped past this window.
- Once we receive and inspect your return, you’ll be issued store credit.
International Orders
We love sending darling pieces around the world! If you’re shopping from outside the US or Canada, here’s what you need to know about returns:
- All international returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery through our Return Portal.
- Once your return is approved, you will need to purchase and ship your own return label through your local carrier.
- Please be sure to insure your package and keep your tracking information handy — we are not responsible for lost or undelivered international returns.
- Returns must be sent back in their original condition (unworn, unwashed, with tags attached) to be eligible for store credit.

Missing Packages
We truly wish we could hand-deliver every darling package straight to your door, wrapped up with care. As soon as a package leaves our hands, it’s in the care of the carrier — but if something goes missing along the way, please know we’ll be here to support you through the process and help guide you with next steps.
First, a Few Things to Check
Sometimes packages are marked as delivered a little early by the carrier. We kindly ask that you wait 2–3 business days after the package is marked delivered, as in many cases it arrives within that time frame. We also recommend checking with your neighbors, building managers, or anyone nearby to see if the package was accidentally delivered to the wrong place. It’s also a good idea to check around entrances, porches, side doors, garages, mailrooms, or any other usual spots where a delivery driver might leave your package safely.
Important Note About Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout, as we cannot cover packages lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address entered at the time of purchase.
Still Can’t Find It?
If after 2–3 business days you still can’t locate your package and have checked all the usual places, please submit a Missing Package Claim through our Returns & Claims Portal here. Include your order number, any relevant tracking updates, a brief description of the issue, and any supporting evidence such as screenshots or photos.
What’s Covered
If you purchased Checkout+ at checkout, you are covered under our package protection policy. This covers:
- Lost packages marked delivered but never received
- Packages that are in transit but never arrive
- Stolen packages after delivery (reviewed on a case-by-case basis)
Packages lost due to an incorrect shipping address or orders without Checkout+ are not covered.
If Checkout+ was not included, you must submit a claim directly with the shipping carrier to request a reimbursement for the missing items
Replacements & Store Credit
If your missing package claim is approved:
- We will send a replacement free of charge if the item is still in stock.
- If the item is no longer available, you will receive store credit for the full value of the item.
Carrier Responsibility & Claims Without Package Protection
Once an order has been shipped and tracking information has been issued, responsibility for the package transfers to the shipping carrier. YDS does not control carrier handling, delivery routes, scanning accuracy, or final delivery placement.
If Checkout+ (package protection) is not purchased at checkout:

YDS is not responsible for lost, delayed, misdelivered, or stolen packages once they are in transit or marked as delivered by the carrier.

Customers are required to file a claim directly with the shipping carrier to seek reimbursement for carrier-related delivery issues.

Carrier confirmation of delivery is considered fulfillment of the order.

Refunds, replacements, or reshipments are not guaranteed and are not required under our policy.
By completing checkout without package protection, customers acknowledge and accept that carrier-related delivery issues must be resolved directly with the carrier and that YDS is not liable for replacement or refund in these cases. Chargebacks or payment disputes initiated for orders marked as in transit or delivered by the carrier, when package protection was not selected at checkout, may be formally contested by YDS. In such cases, YDS may submit all relevant documentation to the payment processor or issuing bank, including carrier tracking confirmations, delivery scans, proof of shipment, order details, checkout acknowledgments, and acceptance of store policies at the time of purchase. Carrier confirmation of delivery is considered fulfillment of the order.
As a small boutique, YDS carefully considers each situation but cannot absorb losses caused by carrier errors. This policy allows us to remain fair, consistent, and sustainable while continuing to serve our customers with care.
We truly hate when you don’t receive your package and want to make this process as easy and fair as possible. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out, we’re here to help!
Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items 💌
We want every darling package to arrive just right, but if something isn’t as expected, we’re here to help.
- If your order arrives damaged, missing an item, or incorrect, please submit a claim through our Return Portal within 3 days of delivery.
- Include clear photos and detailed notes so we can best assist you.
- Items must be returned to us unused, unworn, and with tags still attached in order to qualify for a replacement or store credit.
- All claims of damaged, missing, or incorrect items will be reviewed by our team. If approved, we will provide a return shipping label to send the item back to us.
- If the same item or size is available, we’ll happily send a replacement once the damaged item is received back to us. If it’s not, you’ll receive store credit.
Please note:
- Variations in color, pattern, or texture due to photography, lighting, or screen resolution are not considered damage or defects.
- Issues related to fit or sizing are not considered damage, but may still qualify under our standard return policy.
- Damage caused by improper handling, pets, or wear after delivery cannot be accepted as a damage claim.
If something ever feels wrong with your order, reach out right away — we want to make sure you feel cared for and supported.
Preorder Items
Preorder items are offered as a service to our customers who may have missed an item when it was originally in stock or are hoping to secure a highly requested style before it sells out again. When you place a preorder with us, your order is reserved specifically for you.
Please note: all dates listed on preorder product pages are estimated arrival dates to our store, not shipment dates or arrival dates to you. These dates are provided to us by our vendors and reflect when we expect the inventory to arrive to our warehouse. Once an order is placed with a vendor, the actual arrival timeline is completely outside of our control. Manufacturing timelines, freight delays, customs processing, and carrier issues can all cause delays beyond the estimated timeframe. . Once preorder inventory arrives, please allow a few additional business days for processing, quality checks, and shipping before tracking information is sent.
Because preorder inventory is purchased and allocated specifically based on customer orders, preorder items are not eligible for cancellation once an order has been placed. This policy is in place because we commit to the inventory on your behalf. For this reason, preorder purchases are considered final sale prior to arrival.
We understand that delays can be frustrating, and we truly appreciate your patience. Our goal is always to receive and ship preorder items as quickly as possible, and we work diligently to get them out as soon as they arrive — often earlier than expected when circumstances allow.
If you decide once your preorder arrives that the item is no longer a fit for you, you are always welcome to return it in accordance with our standard return policy for store credit. This allows us to continue offering preorder opportunities while still giving you flexibility after delivery.
By placing a preorder, you acknowledge and agree to these terms, including estimated arrival timelines and our no-cancellation policy for preorder items.

Policy Exceptions & Account Standing
While rare, any exception made to this policy is granted at the sole discretion of Your Darling Style. We reserve the right to limit or block future purchases if repeated exceptions are requested or if return activity is deemed excessive or outside the spirit of our policies.

By completing a purchase with Your Darling Style, you agree to all of the policies outlined above, including but not limited to our return, exchange, shipping, and package protection terms. Your Darling Style reserves the right to deny returns or claims that do not meet the requirements stated. Policies are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
